HARMAN’S EXHIBITION

Uploaded photographs from my Harman’s Uxbridge Brewery exhibition

Exhibition

STAY TUNED

All of the final photographed labels and exhibition will be uploaded by tonight hopefully. The exhibition was a success and my work had a lot of interest from the public – especially the elder males and females. The history clip was really benefitial as it helped answer the question which some people went on to ask before hand – “Did you make up the brewery?” – to which I would explain the past success of the brewery and persuade them to watch the motion clip.

I managed to pinch the table from a local pub. Surprisingly the boss let me take it straight off the shop floor so I carried it 300 metres back to college in the rare 24 degree sun which I did regret afterwards. Regardless, it made my exhibition enforce the idea of authenticity to my work which worked a lot better then a bob standard classroom table.

I was able to speak to the Mayor of Uxbridge and Hillingdon plus the governors of the school and they were pleased to put a face to a name from all of the work I have done for the college events. Some of which remembered the old brewery so it was nice to share what I knew with their personal experience.

SO … photos will be uploaded tonight.

Thanks for your interest

Printing

Once I have had my final critique with my tutor and chosen which, amended, design to go with for each element, I will have them printed and die-cut, mounted or assembled for my final major exhibition. I have thoroughly enjoyed taking on this project, and Harman’s has became a part of my life as I know like the back of my hand. Just wish I was around to experience it first hand. Stay tuned for uploads of photos of my final major exhibition.

Bar Runner Final Design X2

Again, undecided on the final, and waiting for my final critique. Will have photos of the chosen bar runner and packaging design printed and assembled.

Bar Runner Design Development

Unfortunately, due to printing costs, I will no longer be able to actually make and order a rubber based bar runner but I am still going to design it and have it mounted for my exhibition.

Packaging Development

This gallery above shows my initial design development for my now 6 bottle carry case/packaging box. I wanted to keep the design simple and consistent and have two final outcomes which will be critiqued next week. I have also shown minature mock-ups I created at home to get a feel of which design to go for.

Home-made Coasters

To save printing costs, as money was becoming limited, I opted to make my own coasters. I have shown images above. I went with the same design used on the coasters as well as the bottle caps to keep the rebrand consistent
